NAISS offers a wide range of courses, workshops and seminars that are free to all users. Training is provided by staff from NAISS branches across Sweden.

| 19 - 22 October | Introduction to R, MATLAB, and Julia in HPC | online | Learn how to run R, Matlab, and Julia at Swedish HPC centres. We will show you how to find and load the needed modules, how to write a batch script, as well as how to install and use your own packages, and more. |
| 9 - 13 November | Introduction to Git | online | This is an introduction to version control, with a strong focus on Git. Some of the main concepts, like repositories, commits, trees, branches, and merges will be covered, as will many of the basic commands, like clone, add, push, pull, commit, and fork. |
| 16 - 20 November | Using Python in an HPC environment | online | This online 5-day workshop aims to give a brief, but comprehensive introduction to using Python in a Swedish academic High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment. It covers a wide range of levels in using Python and you can decide which days to follow. |
CodeRefinery¶
NAISS is actively participating in the CodeRefinery training network. The network teaches all the essential tools which are usually skipped in academic education so everyone can make full use of software, computing, and data with focus on reusability, reproducibility, and openness. The standard tools workshop is well known in Nordic academic circles.
